Lumi is a suite of AI-powered tools that course builders can use to generate and revise course content. Lumi tools are embedded throughout the My Courses interface and can be identified by the "sparkles" icon (✨):

Lumi tools are available to all instructors and course builders. These tools are used solely for creating and modifying course content. They do not interact with students or with student-submitted content.

The following Lumi tools are available:

• Create assignment ideas
• Create formative knowledge checks
• Create discussion topics
• Within quizzes
  • Create quiz questions
  • Add 'Study Support' for students based on quiz answers
• Modify page content to make the text more or less complex
• Create a course module based on uploaded materials

It's important that you verify the validity of course content created using Lumi tools.
