How to Post to a Discussion

Posting a Discussion

From the Course Homepage, scroll down to the "Work To Do" widget and click on a discussion. You can also find discussions by clicking on the "Content" tab in the blue navbar at the top of the page.

Click on a Discussion Board

Then click on 'Go to Discussion'

Click on it and then click on the blue "Start a New Thread" button at the bottom of the discussion board prompt.

Enter a subject and a discussion post in the box. When you are done scroll down and click on the blue "Post" button.

Your post will now appear. You can now edit your post, track how many times it is viewed, and see who replies to it.

 

Adding attachments to your post

You can add an attachment to a Discussion post by using the following steps

1. Under the HTML editor click the Add attachments button

2. In the box click Upload.

3. Locate the file you want to add and click Open

4. Once your post is ready click Post
