Course Content HTML Template Work Flow
print icon

There is no way to automatically convert old html text/image/video files to the CSP branded html templates. That means that each file must be "rebuilt" within the course by copying and pasting. Begin by clicking on the course content you'd like to transfer to an html template:

Course platform interface with navigation menu, unit list, and text editor.

Next, highlight the content and copy it to your clipboard (Ctrl+c), then click the "Create New" button:

Screenshot of a text editor showing highlighted placeholder text with options to add or create new content.

Next click "Page"

User interface for creating content with options like New Lesson, Page, and Quiz.

Next click on the "Select Template" dropdown, then one of the templates:

User interface of a text editor with a template selection dropdown menu.

Click the "Fullscreen" arrows at the top right of the html editor:

Text formatting toolbar with various icons for editing and formatting options.

Highlight the sample text and then paste your content using (Ctrl+v) or (Ctrl+Shift+v) to paste without formatting (this breaks any hyperlinks or quicklinks in the text).

Text editing interface with placeholder text and Concordia University, St. Paul logo.

Click the "Fullscreen" arrows again, then the blue "Save and Close" button.

Screenshot of an online platform with a menu and a "Sample Content" section.

Finally, delete or hide the old content from student view.
