Navigate to the Gradebook

Click Manage Grades

Click New > Item

Select the type of item you would like to add. If you are just looking for a simple grade column click Numeric.

Configure the following:

• Column Name

• Assign a Category

• Point value

• Add a Rubric (if desired)

• any other settings as needed

Click Save and Close at the bottom of the page when you feel the column is set up as you would like.
