How to Register Your Device's MAC Address for Wired Connection (Ethernet Port)

1. Connect to the CSP network on any device and visit my.nilesecure.com.

2. Click on the profile icon at the top of the screen.

3. Sign in with your CSP credentials.

4. Click on “Register a Wired Device”.

5. Click on "Add Device".

6. Enter the MAC address of the device you want connected to an ethernet port and describe the device (for example, desktop or laptop, etc.)

a. Please visit this page if you need help finding your MAC address. To access this page,

click “Log in with Azure AD”. This should open the CSP Single Sign-On page. Otherwise,

you can google your device and how to find the ethernet MAC address.

7. Click the green checkmark.

8. you can connect the device to the ethernet port once added. You can add up to 5 devices on the Nile network.

 

Troubleshooting If Ethernet Port Doesn't Work After Registering Device

Please send an email to the help desk with the following information:

  1. A screenshot of your registered device on the my.nilesecure.com portal.
  2. Confirm if lights are blinking on the device's ethernet port once plugged in.
  3. Ethernet Port name/number.
  4. Your full name, L# or home address, building, and room number.
